IV DHE for Migraines and Chronic daily headaches?

Question:

Does anyone know about IV DHE? Does it really work? Are thereany severe side effects? This is going to be my last resort for my headaches. I have been on seizure meds., narcotics, triptans, and a list of other meds. for it. EEG,CAT,MRI, Sleep study=all normal. Any suggestions from anyone? Oh yea, I am expecting a couple of smart ellic comments- come on show your "lack" of intelligence.

My 12 year old daughter suffers from extreme chronic migraines. She finally got IV DHE about 8 months ago and she's been alot better ever since. It was pretty rough on her. DHE causes severe nausea and dizziness, so you will get Fenergan to help with that. The Fenergan won't help everything, and you might throw up a few times, depending on how you handle that kind of stuff. Keep a
soft pillow, blanket, bottle of water, and a few mints with you at all times. This helps. You may not be able to walk or function for a while, so just go home and sleep it off. I hope this helps you and I really hope that you get better. My daughter is much better so I have alot of praise for this procedure. Good luck.
