Is there anything for Bipolar II?

I am taking epilim (sodium volproate) and lovan (fluoxetine), i don't want to take with all the side effects, is there a bettter alternative?

I take Trileptal & Topamax. I used to just take Trileptal. Both are good, but I also take Zoloft. In these sites I'll give you some antidepressants will cause manic episodes without mood stabilizers. Group therapies are good, United Self Help, Talk to your pharmacist, if you're not satisfied w/ your DR. then changelike I did. I've had 6-8 Dr.s 7 15 therapists, I learned something from them all. Educate urself, I've been to the medical library by Queen's Hospital, Internet. Good luck. I was diagnosed in 1999 or 2000 but I had the disease B4, & I was a drug addict which changes everything.

Research bipolor and search for away to learn to live with your diorder is the best answer that's how I feel about it today after being diognosied with it 8 years ago. Before now I was just spending alot of money on alot of drugs, shrinks, and councelors.
Yea it's a real disorder but if you learn enough about it you can skip alot of the expencies get to know yourself and learn how to handle the mood swings Good Luck!
