Is anyone out there being treated for intestinal yeast overgrowth...yeast syndrome?
Question:
Answers:
Yes. I am doing it through my health food store lady's method. Low (technically no) sugar diet (I cheat), a mix of herbs in a pill called "Candida Cleanse", and reading in the book "The Yeast Syndrome" by John Parks Trowbridge, M.D.
And yogurt and acidophilous. I take 2 "probiotic" capsules with acidophilous, bifidus and bulgaris. I am also using anti-fungal ointments and powder on the rash and the feet.
For basic information on the systemic yeast syndrome, check out the link on the Welcome page of www.hufa.org.

I know it is awful! It took me 3 years to be diagnosed. I am on the Candida Diet - you can get the book at healthstores. I take probiotics each morning and have found some good yeast prevention supplements at Whole Foods. I also use Oregano Oil each day. The best thing is to avoid yeast/mold foods. After a few weeks on this restriction diet you will begin to feel better.
