i cant wake up?

Question:
i get about 6-7 hour of sleep a day and when i wake up all i want to do is sleep what are some good ways to get awake? i take warm showers first thing it doesnt help i till take 3 hour naps

Answers:
That can be caused by many things. It could be a health problem, you need to talk to a doctor about something called like sleep therapy or just what might cause that.

If you are taking in a high amount of caffeine, that could also be the problem. I know when I gave up my sodas and TAB energy drinks, I went through a withdrawl, but now that I only drink water I always feel so revitalized and ready for the new day, when I was a caffiene drinker, I couldn't wake up, I was always tired, and now that I drink water, I feel like I can do anything, and not be fatigued from it.

Other Answers:
do pranayams ( yoga) ever day and u will sleep and wake up on time
get 8 hours of sleep a night and when you wake up actually do something instead of sitting around
maybe you just need a few extra hours to get back on track so try going to bed a little earlier at night.
You really ought to check with a doctor to find out if you have a sleeping disorder like sleep apnea. Most are treatable.
I'm not sure but when you find out let me know i am the same way.
sleep on concrete and eat an apple or two. apples are said to be better at waking you up than caffiene. oh yeah and take cold showers warm showers are comforting cold showers will wake you up. then i guess get active and start running and stuff thatll wake your body up!
Exercise and Energy drinks baby!
Try taking a walk in the morning, the early morning brisk air might help. I would suggest seeing a doctor because that sounds to be a symptom of many medical problems.
you need to reprogram your mind and body. you're probably coming from a situation or lifestyle where you could just fall back to sleep and were doing so for quite a while. but now, you've probably got school or work and have to wake up at a certain time. you've got to just do it. GET UP. that's all. the more you do it, the more it will be easier for you to wake up at that time.

you don't need special diets or silly moon-eats-the-donkey yoga poses. you just need to reprogram yourself.

something else i do personally when i get into those moods is to set my alarm 1 hour back. then use that 1 hour to get that extra nap. if i dont need the hour then i do something constructive with that time.
You may have some type of condition which restricts blood flow to the brain. Go to the doctor and find out if theres anything wrong with you first!

Otherwise. something which may help is placing a magnet at the base of your neck (on the back) for approx: 10 mins before going to bed. The iron in your red blood cells will be charged and allow more oxygen to be carried with them to the brain. You will sleep better, dream better and when you're awake be much more alert.

*NOTE* Keep magnets away from your skull/brain area. Short periods where that might happen probably will not be harmful in any way but long term exposure can cause significant problems.
