Help Me - Lots of Symptoms?

Question:
Let me preface this by saying I've been to the doctor a dozen times, and this is still happening. Also, I am NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE nor used any drugs, needle or otherwise - no HIV here.

Symptoms:
Swollen lymph nodes in neck
Strong pain in swallowing
Sore skin, sore back
Fever (102 max), sinus-type headache
Constant need to spit (post-nasal drip)
General joint ache, general malaise

Tests taken:
X-Ray of teeth
X-Ray of sinus cavities
Chest X-Ray
CT scan of head/sinuses
CT scan of neck region
Numerous mono/strep tests
Numerous blood/stool/urine tests

Symptoms have come and gone for the past 8 months or so. Typically symptoms will persist for 1-2 weeks, followed by 2-3 weeks of less/no symptoms, then a recurrence. Symptoms during the illness period are debilitating.

I've taken many antibiotics, both orally and via IV. The most effective treatment was 3 days of antibiotics/fluids via IV during a hospital visit 3 weeks ago, but that only delayed symptoms for 3 weeks

Answers:
Not a doctor here, but allergens and fibromyalgia sound like possibilities.

Auto-immune disorder, if you can reconcile the apparent response to antibiotics and fluids. Note that cytochrome P450 is inhibited by many drugs including some antibiotics.

Lyme disease.

Get lots of CBCs, liver and thyroid panels.

Sorry, but you don't mention having been *tested* for HIV, only that you don't consider yourself at risk. AIDS-related-complex fits your symptoms.

Chemical absorption in fat cells could lead to onset while you are away from the contaminated environment.

Compare P450 activity when symptomatic and non-symptomatic
