Why are toxic vitamins like Centrum legal to sell?

Most of the supplement in the market more or less have some toxin in it, unless it is proven with research, etc that it is natural, no preservatives, etc. so does drugs in the pharmacy.
But some of it, they have follow the guidelines provided, and the guidelines is not that strict maybe, and some of it does not covered/ look into all the factors... I suppose that what make it legal. If it's legal, it should be safe for consumption, I can't tell anyway.
Not all doctors recommend that particular supplement. Different doctors have different experience. They will say according of their experience with their patients, or their reading
For us consumer, we have to make a smart choice. We can't deny that supplement are very important in our lives especially nowaday, with so much oxidation, pollution, lack of nutrition, high stress level, etc. We have to take them. so do some research, read books, get facts. Choose that is in harmony with nature, have a long history, effective, have many researches and printed articles in journals,and have good absorption rates.
none of the ingredients there are toxic unless you eat a ton of it. and if you eat too much of anything its bad. but yeah i agree vitamins are a waste, theyre only useful to a small portion of society
