Curcumin is one of the active ingredients (curcuminoids) of turmeric so curcumin capsules/tablets are far better because there is more of one of the main active ingredient scompared to just standard turmeric capsules/pills. Check the label as it should say what the percentage of curcumin is. Turmeric only contains about 4% curcumin. Curcumin capsules obviously contain much more. From what I have seen it tends to be around 95-98%, depending on the brand.
