I've used Flexeril after an auto accident...If you're having problems sleeping, flexeril will knock you out. However, the side effects for me were severe headache after waking up on flexeril.
So rather than continue, I purchased a "tens unit" (sp) which stimulated the sore muscles and relieved the pain without any of the nasty side effects.

Robaxin has more serious side-effects than Flexoril, but only with very long-term use. I've used both, and I prefer Flexoril.

flexeril isn't good for me, it makes me dizzy and weird. Robaxin puts me out for like 16 hours though. I don't know. Probably neither unless your really hurting. Then, robaxin at night
anymore than a night or two and I need something else b/c it just knocks you out. Probably smoking pot is better than both and the best would be nothing at all. Unless I'm hospitalized with no arms, I just suck it up.
