What do you think of this claim that The president of this African country cured at least 30 people of AIDS?
Question:
The patient is asked to sit up from a recumbent position. If he is unable to do so, then it is a sign it is too late. If he is able to
do so, then the next stage can begin. The patient lies back again, while the president of the country
takes out some African herbs, whispers a few prayers, then rubs the herbs into his hands, hovers his hands over the body of the patient (not actually touching the person) then when the hands move from the head down over the stomach, the president grabs the air and acts as if he is grabbing the malign presence of HIV and "pulling it out of the body", and repeats this motion a few times. When this procedure is completed, the patient has to say his prayers as dictated by the Quran. Candidates have to have the HIV virus before being cured.
Answers:
If you're just asking for an opinion, then I would have to answer that I think it's possible. I haven't heard anything about this on the news, but that contributes to the possiblity that maybe a cure DOES exist but as pointed out earlier, western medicine RELIES on sick people to stay in business and curing illness does not create a, how shall we say, "repeat customer". My personal experiences with Native American medicine (my father and his side of the family are Navajo) has led me to believe that almost anything is possible.
Believe it or not, but the mind has much control over what the body does, including the body's own ability to naturally heal. Western Medicine is founded on the belief that only large amounts of drugs, medical care, and therefore CASH can cure you.
Suddenly there is a pill for every possible ailment, and even some ailments that are purely made up! Studies have shown that Viagra and such related products work almost solely on belief that the pill works. Slipping a guy a viagra when he is unaware is not going to turn him into a raging stud, he has to know that he has taken the pill. I'm not saying that people can simply cure themselves from AIDS by believing they can, but I refuse to think that it is uncurable.
As far as Yahya Jammeh claiming that AIDS is a weapon of the "white man", this might just be propaganda, especially as he holds the title of the president...
Long story short, I'm open minded to the idea, however I will continue to examine every opinion, story and so called "facts" sent my way. I'd like to know if these labs that are examing the blood for traces of AIDS are in any way affilliated with Jammeh and would support him in any kind of conspiracy... After all, any guy who could cure terminal inllnesses would have my vote.
I think its just like everything else u c in the news a lil bit of truth anda hole lota lie. hehe
Until some controlled experiments are done I'll have much doubt.
Curing AIDS is nothing. Have you seen some of the stuff that Mind Freak guy does.
My first Father-in-Law swore he had seen African Americans turn to Caucasians after a Mormon Preacher had prayed over them. LDS, as I understand, believes that black skin is the mark of Cain.
I didn't believe him, the mind freak does illusions, and I don't believe the voodoo coming out of Gambia.
I do wish him all the luck though. This is a SCAM and when those cured of AIDS start dropping dead someone is going to want their money back and probably after the President has assumed room temperature.
Sadly, there is no money in curing AIDS (or cancer, for that matter) The Western medicine "world" makes its money by keeping people ill, and treating only symptoms. If a cure is found, zillions of dollars would be lost to the AMA and FDA - you think they are going to let THAT happen?
Intrepid, there is a cure for all diseases but not like nor by whom you or the others are talking about, Jimmy.
My take? It's bullshit. This man gets paid for his treatment.
Again, I think the whole show is just that, A show. And BTW the "V" in HIV stands for virus so HIV Virus is kinda redundant. Kinda like ATM Machine, the M stands for machine.
al gore is that you!
