Can anyone suggest a good vitamin or supplement to help you with energy?

Question:
Energy drinks pep me up for a bit but wears off quick. Then I sink. Nothing Illegal please.

Answers:
Hi Smoke,
I take a supplement that keeps me going all day long. It not only gives me great energy, it raises my mood, reduces stress, and in general makes me feel great. It takes away the pain of my neuropathy in my hands, feet, legs and back, my shoulder pain, and any other little pains I have.

Oh by the way, I happen to be 70 years old. My hubby says, "I have my wife back". Good huh! <G>

My husband is 70 years old, still working 40 hrs. a week, as an electrician, and still has plenty of energy when he comes home from work. That's right, he's taking it too.

This is all natural and all fruit.

Hope this helps,
Abbye B

Vitamin B's, Vitamin D's and make sure you take mineral's because your body get's rid of the vitamins so quickly, when you take your minerals the vitamins stick around longer..
Try multivitamins with gingko biloba. Or Centrum Performance. Excellent vitamins.
a good vitamin you should take is one a day weight smart. if you are dieting a good pill would be relacore it gives you energy, higher metabolism, fights mid day fatigue, improves mood, and reduces stress. i take both. they work great.
You should be taking multivitamins, but I also take vitamin B100. I was soooo tired the entire first trimester of my pregnancy, I used them to get through the day without taking naps. I was sleeping all the time and these really did make a difference. I still take them.
Thank goodness there are lots of great multiple vitamins out there.

Avoid the Centrum/One-a-Day type. Nurses call them bedpan bullets because they can identify the brand in the bedpan.

Since each person is different, you just have to experiment with different ones to see which one works the best for you.

It doesn't hurt to vary which one you use, either. That way you might get even greater benefit.

BTW, liquid multis are the best because you absorb about 3-5 times as much that way. If you don't want to do that, and not everyone does, then Source of Life is one I like a lot.

Good luck and be well.

Eat awell balanced diet and you shouldn't have to take any supplements.
A product called liquid life. I can't get through the day without it! It is liquid and has a list of vitamins and minerals a mile long.
Check out a health food store. they usually have some very good products.
get a b complex vitamin, it contains b-6, b-12, etc all the ones you need for energy. I think I have also seen the herb milk thistle in some energy drinks
I use a good multi-vitamin and or 5 hour energy. Here is a good web site my roommate said he goes to. http://www.dontforgettotakeyourvitamins. I hope that helps
Three good energy boosters are chlorophyll, barley grass and wheatgrass.
I personally like the product Mega H, which was introduced to me by a MD who is also into nutritional medicine; it works for me. Another good one is NADH. Some people get great results from CoQ-10. If you are being drained due to stress, try an adaptogen herb like Ginseng, Ashwagandha, Eleuthero, Maca, Suma, Rhodiola Rosea, and/or Schizandra. If you are being drained due to lack of sleep or lack of good/deep sleep, try Melatonin. Also, some people gain energy from taking Multi-Digestive Enzymes before eating; digesting food takes energy and the enzymes take a lot of the energy load off the body. A high Protein breakfast or protein shake in the morning will help as the day progresses. Also, make sure your MultiVitamin/Mineral is USP approved as this will give you what it promises; look on the label above the ingredients for it.
sure: focus facor - that new combination vitamin that's on teleivison and you can call toll free for a free bottle like i did and i was amazed it helps me . Also, that old standby vitammin 12 works too.

but you have to take the fitas faithfull.
thanks kathy
