People are asshats. Pardon my bad English. When you are on the internet the availability and frequency of said asshats rises. Also holier than thou types are at an all time high (since there are more people in the world). The best thing you can do is concentrate really hard and hope that their heads explode simultaneously.
I don't agree. If you come on here and ask a question about an activity that is ILLEGAL, then you deserve to get a hard time.
It's best not to come here and post questions about drugs unless you want help getting off of them.

Yes, I agree with you. People can be downright cruel at times in their responses. It is completely unnecessary. Sometimes I do notice that people misinterpret questions and assume the asker is being sarcastic, so they become sarcastic in their answer.
I totally agree! I think just by the nature of this forum, it attracts people with strong opinions who like to voice them. You'll find the same in the politics & religious forums as well. Just weed through the unhelpful/disparaging comments and look for the answers that are really trying to address the question. Don't worry about the others.
You are asking for the impossible. The paradigm of YouQA.com is such that you are bound to get a large contingent of smart-alec comments to pretty much any question, no matter how serious.
However, in my opinion, that is part of the charm of this thing.

Stop taking drugs! (just kidding).
A lot of people have already been through it with drugs, and have realised it dangerous, a waste of money and makes you stupid, then again if I had it to do all over again I probably wouldn't change anything (ha ha!) Do your experiments but don't ever let it take over your life. If you can't have fun anymore without a drug involved you have a problem (or if you wake up in your own barf a lot too!)

you're right but it's hard sometimes not to get preachy particularly where drugs are concerned.
This forum is for questions and answers... yes, people have the right to their own opinion and while it isnt against the rules to post your opinion, the focus is on the question, not your opinion of the question.
So yes, I may disagree with what you say but I defend your right to say it.
Well part of your question is vague in the sense that there is no indication whether you are talking about illegal drugs or prescription drugs. For answers pertaining to prescription drugs I would most likely refrain from offering advice and would refer the asker to the medical professionals for his/her own safety. As with illegal drugs I would answer the question to the best of my ability and use my extensive knowledge and previous experiences to help the asker solve an issue, however, the context of the question would weigh heavily on the answer. Sure the world is full of self righteous and ignorant preacher types who think they are going to save the world by proselytizing their beliefs to the world but the common denominator still remains and that is people just want to help someone who might be on a path of self destruction. So if you have a drug question just feel free to ask me for an unbiased and preachy free answer. I have in the past and will continue to answer email questions that are too personal for people to put out in the public forum.
