How much fee is resonable for reiki lessons?
Question:
Answers:
Generally: for First Degree, $150; Second Degree, $300; Third Degree varies widely among the "Masters." Some expect you to be able to MANIFEST (uch) $10,000. Others a sum that is also at least four digits in length. I always charged $600 (2nd doubled 1st; 3rd doubled 2nd), and I felt it was a fair fee. I was not looking to get rich; I was looking to pass on knowledge of a healing art. Choose your teacher wisely. Email me if I can be of service in helping you to select a Master Teacher.
I agree. There are places that charge way high amounts. I charge 150 for first, 275 for second and 500 for Master/Teacher. Occasionally it will be a bit more if I incorporate oils into the sessions for those I charge 125. It is imperative that people get to know Reiki. There are times I do a healing for free. Just to get it out there. Good luck!
Your teacher will agree upon an amount that fits the two of you, and should take into consideration why you are interested in reiki and what will come of your initiation.
I have charged anywhere from a no dollar amount of a return favor to greater sums of cash. I have no set fee.
I ask my spirit guides, and they help me arrive at the decision.
Good luck!
I recieved my master healing attunement free of charge. Reiki should be free, in my opinion.
The fee really depends on what type of training is being offered with the attunements and if certification is also being offered. Sometimes people only want an attunement and do not desire training or are not going to practice Reiki on anyone others want to become certified and master/teachers of Reiki and would require more knowledge and training.
For the ones who only wish to have an attunement for personal healing and growth, an attunement would be charged similar to a healing session, generally around $60-80 depending on your location and what other bodywork practitioners charge for a session. Or how your spirit and guides tell you to charge, which is the best place to figure out how much you are meant to charge someone.
For more traditional training and certification, typically conducted over several weekends to several months depending on the student and level of commitment to training and practice I would charge: $150 for Reiki 1 (one weekend), $300 for Reiki 2 (one weekend) and $1000 for Master/Teacher level (one weekend with ongoing support and training as needed). Again depending on your area and what you feel in your spirit, that determines what you will charge for training. Generally I include as much information about healing others and self, while using Reiki with oils, crystals, and other complimentary methods.
The money is not charged for the energy, but it is charged for the time it takes to conduct the lessons and attunements. Your time is as valuable as anyone elses and the training you have completed for your Reiki practice is just as valuable as someone who has been trained in massage or any other bodywork practitioner, isn’t it?
i'd say this is a rough guide:
level 1 $250
level 2 $500
level 3 $1000
You can see that this varies though from teacher to teacher. I don't have a set fee but this is what you can expect to pay pretty much anywhere.
Make sure, for your fee, you get the following:
* certification
* after class support
* accurate, quality teaching
High fees DO NOT mean better instruction. Make sure your teacher knows what he/she teaches and that you will be able to get on with him/her. I recommend communication (email, phone or in person) before enrolling in a course to ensure you will be able to work effectively with the teacher.
People have left good advice here for you.
However, just a quick point - REIKI is FREE. What you're paying for is the time and professional learning investment of your teacher and their ability to pass information on to YOU. That's why it is so important to get to know your potential teacher first. If they're too busy to guide you and answer your questions before enrolling in a course, they'll also be too busy to support you afterward, when you have even more questions.
Good luck on your journey.
