If I have high pressure on my optic nerve, which is better a hot compress or cold?

i would think cold
Neither will make any difference.
Brew a cup of Chamomile tea, let it cool, pour on a washcloth and lay on the eye. It takes down inflammation and inhibits pain right at the nerve center. A cold compress of it works great for me. Takes out the soreness too. You can get the Chamomile tea in the grocery store in the coffee isle.
