How do i make my ear pop?? PLEASE HELP ME!!!?

Question:
Oh my god, i have a really bad head cold, and my ears keep clogging up and popping...well now my left ear has popped and the right wont...ive tried pinching my nose and blowing, tried sitting in bathroom with steam, been taking decongestants, yawning, chewing gum.i read a few other answers and tried those too...but nothing is working...it doesnt hurt, but it sounds funny and i feel really off balance...how do i get it to pop??

Answers:
Try holding your right ear (lower part with earlobe) and gently GENTLY pull downward. Try adding in a yawn at the same time. If this all doesn't do it, find a massage therapist certified in Craniosacral Therapy, and have him/her adjust your right ear. It sure helped for me!
sounds more like an ear infection and you might need a doctors help but first get some ear wax remover and try that it might just be a build up of ear wax causing the problem.
Your ear is blocked because the passage that travels from the middle ear to the back of the mouth is blocked because of your cold. You don't need to do anything and you don't need antibiotics because allmost all colds are viral in origin. When your cold starts to go it will correct itself. In the meantime relax, eat, watch a DVD and catch up on some sleep! Pincing you nose and blowing out your nose is the correct way but there is proably too much crap blocking the passage that it's not working.
Put a few drops of coconut oil in the ears and plug it with a cotton ball, it will clear the congestion. Treat the head cold immediately.

Herbal Cold Remedies
Echinacea
Echinacea, which is commonly known as the purple coneflower, is one of the top-selling herbs in North America. It's best known for its ability to boost the immune system. Unlike antibiotics, which kill bacteria, echinacea stimulates the production of white blood cells and makes your body more capable of attacking viruses and fighting colds, coughs, flu and other respiratory conditions.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon flavors your latte and sweetens your toast, but it's definitely more than a kitchen spice. It's been used medicinally for thousands of years in preventing infection and fighting poor circulation.

Ginger Root
Ginger is generally used to treat an upset stomach, but it also works well with the respiratory system. It fights colds by removing congestion, relieving sinus pain and clearing sore throats. Chinese herbalists discovered its healing properties 2,500 years ago, and have been using it ever since to treat various ailments.

Honey Lemon Tea
If you don't have any of these herbs lying around in your kitchen, then try making this simple tea. Squeeze the juice out of a lemon into a cup of hot water, and add honey to make it less sour. Both honey and lemon are natural agents in soothing a sore throat. Lemons can also cause you to sweat, which helps lower a fever.

* A tablespoon of carom seeds (ajwain) crushed and tied in a muslin cloth. Inhale whenever nose is blocked.

* Boil 1 tbsp of pepper powder in a cup of milk along with a pinch of turmeric. Add some sugar for taste. Drink this once a day for three days.

* 3-4 tsp onion juice with 3-4 tsp honey taken daily prevents cold. Tips 4: ½ tsp cinnamon oil mixed with ½ tsp honey certainly helps.

* Coarsely pound ginger is boiled in a cup of water till the water reduces to half the original volume, add some honey and drink hot at bedtime.
