Massage therapy for psoriasis?
Question:
Answers:
I haven't tried this, nor have I read any research that suggested massage therapy would work. That said, it MIGHT work and it's certainly worth a try. Massage therapy helps increase blood flow to the skin, and also helps to sort of loosen up and flush out toxins that are parked in the tissues in your body. Massage therapy is also really great for stress, and stress certainly contributes to psoriasis. It's definitely worth a try. Good luck!
It certainly won't hurt your condition or change it in any way since psoriasis is an autoimmune disease. You may get temporary relief from manipulation of the skin and deep tissues.
