Answers:
I love emu oil. I have heard of the many claims about it, and my son uses it on his eczema, it helps. I use it instead of lotion, it works much better.

Emu (from the ostrich like bird) oil is the closest thing to human skin oil.
I dont know about that, but maybe this will help
Evening Primrose, Tree Primrose (Oenothera Biennis)
Use the Oil from the Seeds
The flowers were used to treat persistent coughs but not since it was found that the seeds are rich in gammalinolenic acid (GLA). GLA is needed by the body to make certain prostaglandins, which help to quell inflammatory reactions. Oil extracted from the seeds, either neat or in capsules, has been shown to help eczema, rheumatoid arthritis, premenstrual tension and menopausal symptoms. It also seems to slow the progress of multiple sclerosis. CAUTION: The dosage given on most brands of capsules is from 500mg to 2g daily. This is sufficient for long-term use, but for acute inflammatory conditions like eczema and arthritis, a much higher dose is needed at first, like 3 to 4g, but consult a professional first.

AND

Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza Glabra),,
Use the Roots,,Has long been used in medicine to disguise bad tastes, but its virtues goes further than that. It’s a favourite ingredient in cough mixtures, adding its soothing, anti-inflammatory action, and stimulating the flow of mucus from the lungs and bronchi. COMBINES well with Thymus, Inula and Echinacea. The same soothing action is used to heal gastritis and peptic ulcers, before modern drugs like Zantac. Can be COMBINED with Symphytum, Filipendula or Althaea for this. It also contains substances that are very similar to the body’s own steroids and can be used to treat all sorts of conditions that would respond to steroidal drugs, like arthritis, ulcerative colitis, eczema or any other condition involving runaway inflammation. Its action is not so strong, but it does not have the undesirable long term side effects of steroid use. This is because the natural steroids contained in it are balanced and buffered by all the other constituents, but also because it acts to support and strengthen the adrenal gland, unlike steroidal drugs that tent to depress its action. Thus, besides being usefull for actual disease of the adrenal gland, it helps to restore it to full function when someone has had to take steroids. For arthritis COMBINE with Harpagophytum, Apium and Symphytum. For ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease COMBINE with Chamomilla, Melissa and Symphytum, and for eczema COMBINE with Trifolium, Rumex and Viola. As always consult a professional if no good results within 6 weeks. Glycyrrhiza means “sweet root” in Greek. It has always been prized for its sweet taste. Is made into confectionary in many forms and added to tobacco, for smoking and chewing and also added to some beers to make them thicker and blacker. CAUTION: Not to be used by anyone suffering from high blood pressure.

AND

Aloe (Aloe Vera)
Use juice or gel from leaves
Is an essential ingredient in any herbal first-aid kit. Externally it is a soothing and cooling wound healer. Takes the heat out of sunburn or minor burns and re-moisturizes the skin at the same time. Good for insect bites, stings, grazes and mild eczema, especially if COMBINED with Calendula tea for its antiseptic properties. COMBINES well with Hypericum and Symphytum. Internally, a powerfull purgative, for in its unprocessed state contains strong laxative ingredients, but must be carefully combined with carminative herbs that relaxes the muscles of the stomach and intestines to avoid uncomfortable gripping, like COMBINE with Carum Carvi, Matricaria Chamomilla, Zingiber Officinalis or Mentha Piperita. But with purgative (laxative) ingredients removed, it is a powerfull wound healer and soothes inflammation inside the body and out. Good for irritable bowl, colic and the aftermath of intestinal infections of all sorts. Also good for managing chron’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Also calming rheumatoid arthritis. CAUTION: Aloe for internal use cannot be prepared at home from the raw plant.

Hope it helps

The Oil from emus and Goannas has been used in Australia since before time. There could be side effects if you are allergic to any of the ingredients contained. I use the emu oil straight for skin care and I have fairly sensitive skin. not sure about patents and the like in USA but I like the Firebrand and Sunspirt brands of emu oil.
