Well, the leaves somewhat pretty, whilst being a bit common in appearance. :) Of course, if you're talking about the extremely hallucinogenic effect, that's another story.
The leaves, however, do not really have much impact in small quantities and unfortified. Extracts are potent as they combine the chemical (Salvinorin A) from many leaves into one strong extract...

I think that if you want the full salvia experience you should try salvia EXTRACT.
