What are the difference between effervescent tablets and pills?

Question:
Chemically, saccharin represents an acid, slightly soluble in water (i.e effervescent tablets). I have a mild urid acid, so should I opt for effervescent tablets or pills if I would have to take Calcium supplement.
Thanks for the advice.

Answers:
Just make sure you don't take anything with your calcium supplement. My mother takes an Rx one to help build bone density. She takes it once a month on an empty stomach and cannot eat for one hour after taking it. She can not lay down when she takes it or she gets acid reflux from it.

As long as you are not taking any other medication for three hours before you calcium, and and hour after, it should not matter. It would be a good idea for you to ask your doctor about it. I don't know what type of supplement you are using. If it is an over the counter supplement, you can talk to any pharmacist about it & they should be able to advise you.

Good luck!!
the only difference between pills and tablets are the way they're made...

Tablets are like a powder that is pressed into it's shape...

Pills are usually the medicine placed into a capsule...like.Tylenol.y... can actually open them up and pour out the medicine...
