Tramadol / ultram?

Question:
will u fail a drug test on tramadol or no?

Answers:
Tramadol (Ultracet, Ultram) is a non-narcotic pain medication that at one point they actually thought wasn't addictive. However, with drug testing it depends how specific the drug test is. In urine test they maily test for the major drugs such as benzos and barbs etc. It is possible they could find traces of tramadol in your system, but not likely.
no it is non narcotic. But if they have a box to list any medications, it is a good idea to mention it
Yes, you will. And I suggest you stop cold turkey. It won't kill you. Unless you're popping more than 1000 mg a day. Then you're screwed.
Yes. It does have narcotic propeties, and it is a prescription medication. If you have a valid prescription for it, it doesn't matter if you fail the test, your doctor can back you up. If you don't have a prescription, and you are taking it anyway, you are in trouble. Stop if you can. If you can't, get help.
hi, I don't know if you've ever heard of a program called drug court but I'm in it and i get a drug screen every day and recently I was taking ultram and nothing else, no other medication, no illegal drugs or anything and the whole time I was taking my ultram I was testing positive for THC, when I stopped taking it I started testing negative again. My Probation officer has said that she's had it test for several different kinds of drugs before, as did my counsilor. I've called pharmacies and they've all said they don't see how it would test positive for anything, but it does because I know I wasn't doing anything illegal and tested positive still. My P.O has sent my U.A off to a toxicology lab and is requesting they break down everything to find out exactly what is causing these false positives. So I guess I would suggest for you not to take it while having to take any drug screens. Of course everybody is different though.
Tramadol is an opioid analgesic related to morphine, heroin, and opium, so yes, you will most likely fail a drug test if you are on Tramadol or have taken within the last 2-3 days. If you have a valid prescription for Tramadol, be sure to bring either the script itself or the bottle with you when you take your drug test. Most places won't just trust you if you say "Oh yeah, I have a prescription for that."
