Does cranberry juice actually 'clean you out'?

Question:
I heard that cranberry juice is almost an equivalent of water; basically running right through you and cleaning you out.

Is this true?

Answers:
Okay. Yes it does but it depends what kind of juice you buy. The oceanspray (or the like) stuff is full of chemicals and added sugar you definitely don't need if you're trying to rid yourself of an infection. Go with a pure cranberry. This is going to be more money- maybe $6-$7 for a 16 oz. bottle (big deal ;)- and smaller than the name brand. If you can find organic get it. If not, go with a lessr known name. "Northland" juice is at Walmart. If you're by Trader Joe's they have a good brand. This is potent stuff folks and you'll greatly benefit from it. I like to get it down a little easier by mixing with a sparkling water. 2 T. juice into 8 oz. of H2O and you can drink glass after glass all day, it's SO good for you. Not sweet at all but very refreshing.
Another option you can do in conjunction to this is either a kidney cleanse or a whole body cleanse that includes a kidney cleanse. Look at your local health food store and seek advice from them...
God Bless!

Yes it is, that's why it's so good for your kidneys. :-)
A lot of people use cranberry juice to acidify their urine, to kill bacteria--to prevent or treat urinary tract infections. Does it work? Yes--doctors recommend drinking cranberry juice along with the sulfa drugs they prescribe for UTI's to "assist" the antibiotics.
Cranberry juice does clean the kidneys. It's good for a urinary tract infection.
