Melatonin? time sensitive...PLEASE answer?
Question:
Also...I'm thinking about taking it tonight because tomorrow's my birthday and I want to be rested...should I, even though I don't know how my body will react?
I'm also on Ortho-Tricylen...will it affect how it works any and is it safe to take Melatonin while on it?
Answers:
Okay I can answer this one for you. It does work for me and I was taking it before I became pregnant. Just take it about 20 minutes before you plan on going to bed. It might also help to dim the lights, cut the noise and have a glass of milk. Don't know about interaction with birth control but melatonin is a natural chemical made within the body anyway so it should be okay.
My understanding is that you have to take it regularly for it to work. I tried it a few years ago and it didn't do anything bad, but I didn't sleep better either.
melatonin is not contra-indicated with ortho-triclyen
yes u can try melatonin, it does work for some and the bes way to find out if it will work for u is to try it
if it doesnt, theres a better one, valerian, studies proved that valerian is better
but both did not work well for me, u may want to try what im taking, 5htp
