It's magnesium citrate, it comes in a chalice bottle as lemon or cherry flavor. You drink the entire bottle and that will empty out your bowels.
Don't forget to follow the colonoscopy preparation paperwork. If you're taking any blood thinners, consult next to your doctor when to temporarily stop. And the day up to that time, for best result, drink just wet, don't eat anything else.
I apparently don't know your problem, but have you tried other therapy? I personally have chronic IBS for 10 years and still avoided having this type of experiment. It's about as invasive as you can take, and if you do some web probing, it's not all "plain sailing". For me, a naturopath using Vega Testing worked wonders. She found a germs and a parasite in my system, contracted surrounded by Africa. Once treated for both they cleared up and I haven't had a problem since, nor own I had to have a colonoscopy either. Just a thought......?
