Hi can u take diclofenac tabs and have alcohol as long as i put a space between them?

Question:
im on diclofenac and its my birthday so i want to know if can have alcohol as long as i keep them apart from each other but if so how long about should i wait and if can give me a precise time if possible please thanks

Answers:
No way! They are meant to be a long acting drug so no amount of break between the drink and the tablet will be good. They are strong. Be careful.
I would read the information that came with them. If it states to avoid alcohol then i would not drink it.
the declofenac is still inside your system even after you stop taking them.
Do not drink alcohol while taking diclofenac. Alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding caused by diclofenac.
This medicine can also increase your risk of serious effects on the stomach or intestines, including bleeding or perforation. Therefore avoid any alcohol
I really wouldn't mix them, even with a gap between. I did this and was so sick I ended up in casualty having an anti emetic to stop me throwing up and with drip in my arm to rehydrate me. It could have just been me, but I for one am not going to try it again!!
hi, i don't think u hav to drink alcohol the same time as tabs it might infect u. I know its your bithday and its hard not to drink alcohol but i prefer if you can just avoid it. I think you hav to wait until you finish the course. Hope this will help you.
The maximum dose of diclofenac is 150mgs in 24 hours. This is usually given as 50 mgs three times daily with food, as they are irritant on an empty stomach. There is no direct interaction between diclofenac and alcohol.
