Bulimia Help?
Question:
Has anybody tried this organisation or the recordings they sell?
What was your experience with this Hypnotherapist?
Can anybody recommend another Hypnotherapy Site?
Answers:
Hypnosis is a pretty debated treatment. but a lot of people get benefits from it.
Without assuming anything, have you tried counseling? Have you looked into why she started being Bulimic (for lack of a better way to say it)?
Hypnosis may allow her to cover up her desire to do it. but if some stressor on her life was causing her to WANT to do it, the only thing that will cure it and prevent any other issues would be to remove the stressor.
I would personally suggest at least some counseling and/or therapy in addition to Hypnosis (before or after, but before may be better so you wouldn't have to risk a relapse) to at least find out what the source of her distress may have been.. if you don't remove the source of the problem, it's bound to find it's way back.
Bulimia is a family disease which requires family therapy, your attempts to isolate your daughter's problem as a personal one, may hinder her potential for health. This is true for most addictive disorders.
