What do you suggest for birth control?
Question:
Thanks
Answers:
Well, if you don't want any of the things you mentioned, and you don't want to risk pregnancy at all, then I suggest you abstain from sex. That would be the only way to "not risk pregnancy at all."
the only sure way is to not have sex..
Don't even think about the rhythm method, but celibacy ALWAYS works.
Use condoms. It worked well for me.
only thing that is 100% not going to get you pregnant is not having sex at all
Yeah, ageless is right. Abstinence is the only other option.
May I say, however, that for someone who is obviously rabid on the prevention of pregnancy, you don't seem open to many preventative measures. Hoping isn't gonna do it. Nor is crossing your fingers, or luck.
ask your ob/gyn
well if you are not married I would suggest not having sex, then I guarantee you wont get pregnant
Abstinence, just as God had in mind.
Good for you for knowing yourself well enough to make a responsible choice.
I'd suggest the pill if you are able to take it. It contains natural hormones estrogen and progesterone.
The pill is extremely effective when used properly and in conjunction with condoms. I used this method for years.
I understand why you wouldn't want Norplant. Are you scared of surgery. If so I suggest you research tubal ligation and/or cauterization.
Good luck!
depends on your age (and if you're married or not) but tubiligation and the birth control pill are the best besides abstinence. With both tubiligation (from the start) and birth control pills there is still a tiny possibility to conceive. If you are so set on not having any children then I don't understand why you don't want to consider tubiligation (unless now you're under age). Years after the tubiligation (which is a minor simple operation) you can't get pregnant. From time to time you have to change brands for your birth control pill and so that time is scary. Those are your choices. Take em or leave em, it's your body.and your choice.
No sex- no kids. Do not trust any of these methods. They often fail. Just use a condom and still then there is a risk.
If you don't want kids, yet refuse to use birth control pills or get your tubes tied, then all I can say is:
1) Either use condoms religiously (even that's only 98%).
OR
2) Don't have sex...ever!
OR
3) Congratulations on being a parent!
LOL at all the no-sex answers-you're gonna tell me when this person is 40 and still doesn't want kids "not to have sex"?. Condoms are the most fool-proof.
So no surgery, hormones, or implants. Your only choices are a barrier method (condoms, diaphragm, etc.), the rhythm method (where you track when you ovulate), or no sex. Unfortunately the barriers and rhythm methods have a much higher risk rate than other methods.
What is the reason why you don't want to go on those methods? With surgery, it's permanent. No kids, like you wanted. Are you worried about the side effects with hormonal? The Nuva-ring has the best success with no side effects. I have tried the pill, the shot, condoms, the rhythm method, the shield, the diaphragm, the patch, and the ring. The ring gave me no side effects, I have little to no PMS, and my periods last 3 days.
If you keep changing partners I suggest condoms with a hormonal type. I suggest condoms for the risk of a STDs or HIV. Condoms are not good enough by themselves, that's for the hormonal method.
Condoms are only 98% eaffective with the spermicide. If it does not have it, I believe it is around 80%. Trust me, I have too many friends that have kids just from usings condoms alone.
Talk to a doctor for further advise. Good luck.

Sorry...disagree!
Many people THINK that natural family planning or charting cycles do not work but it is more reliable than the pill...so you do the math.
Until you go to a class to learn about it and try it...I don't think you can rule it as not working. Maybe the people you know/spoke to didn't use it properly or were lazy about it. Kinda like those people who get prego on the pill because they forget to take it!?
Your body and your chart don't lie. I know EXACTLY when I can get prego and exactly when I can't. Plus...what your charts show can help you in early diagnosis of weak bones, cancers...etc. That's how I got diagnosed with something because the moron doctors couldn't diagnosis it.
And...I am not pregnant. :) Without surgery, fake hormones or implantations.
Good luck..
If you don't want to go on the pill, either have your partner use condoms, or don't have sex.
Those are your only options.
Natural family planning, like the catholic church advocates... is a crock. You can get pregnant at ANY point in your cycle if a viable egg is present.
Get an L-bolt with a lock fixed on ur genitals and throw the key in a river.
