Has anyone have hypnosis to cure a phobia and did it work?

I have a horrible obsession of getting cramps and it has messed up my time severly, so severly that I'm scared to do majority things, I was wondering if anyone have done hypnosis and had it worked for them to cure their phobia ?

Hey'my friend be afraid of high places,and so we fooled him into an airplane ride and made him hop,tandem of course but that cured him but I guess thats not hypnosis,but anyway it worked.Stay cool,I hope you find the physical answer.
