Are to many B6 and B12 vitimans bad for you?

Question:

Answers:
I am not aware of any toxic effects from taking large amounts of Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12. These vitamins are water soluble whatever your body does not need you will eliminate. However, I would consult with your healthcare practitioner prior to adding any new supplements to your daily regimen. I would personally try to make sure that I am taking a high quality multi-vitamin. The one that I use is called Intramax. This product is an all organic multi-vitamin. This will provide you will a good base and if you need to you take an additional B-6 and B-12. I hope this helps to answer your question.
Unless you are taking super excessive amounts, you should be ok. They work by increasing the amount of red blood cells that your body produces (and other effects) and will give you rushes of energy by allowing more oxygen to be carried throughout your body by the newly formed red blood cells.
Well... it`s one of those vitamins that get eliminated in your urine. Just like Vit. C, when you take too much of it, it gets eliminated through your urine.
Too much is just as bad as not enough. Ask your Dr. or Pharmacist how much you should be taking. Good luck.
You know the saying everything in moderation,it,s true.People can overdose from too many vitamins just like too much of a medication. The liver and kidneys will have to work over time trying to process the extra vitamins. It depends how much you have taken.
Any vitamin taken in excess can be bad for you. I like to take a break from them a few days a month so they dont build up in my body.
I'd be wary as isolated B12 and B6 are made from chemicals ( cyanocobalamin and pyridoxine hydrochloride) and poorly utilized by the cell. Food form or yeast digested is superior. IM me for sources -- paulrevere17 - see Neurotron.
to much of anything is bad for you, meds, drinks food etc, used to excess will cause you to write a check on your body that your body can't cover.
B vitamins are "water" soluble and are not stored in the body. If you take more than your body needs it just comes out in your urine. Most B vitamins are orange in color and your urine will turn orange also.
Could lead to a deficiency of other B vitamins. If you take very large amounts of Vitamins B6 and B12 they are absorbed preferentially at the expense of other B vitamins so what you must do is to take a B complex in addition to B6 and B12.
