Anyone ever taken a chi gong class? What be it close to?

Answers:    I went to a Chi Gung Class for six years. The type of Chi Gung I did be called Zhuan Zhang - but we basically called it Jam Jong. This type be all in the order of stillness, holding fixed positions to open up and be a foil for or channels. It be very significant and only relied on minimal movements if any. We would hold fixed positions for upwards of partly an hour or more. It was incredibly difficult but very rewarding and soporific. I also did Tai chi with like peas in a pod teacher as resourcefully as a martial art derived from our chigung call Yichuan or Dachenchuan.

I would recommend you do chi gung - since many beleive that chi gung be the precursor to Tai Chi and is therefore far elder as an energy system.

Other forms of Chi Gung rely on movement, slow or immediate - but I don't know about those.
A lot resembling Tai Chi. Very calm, relaxing, and calm exercise. You see some video demonstrations on youtube, just force out for "Qigong"
