I did experimental dieting with CSIRO it was over a few months ----your weight was checked I think about twice a month and you had blood tests also you were provided with frozen meat packs only 100gm for meals one per day with this you had to eat 2 cups of vegetables in about 6 months I lost 10 kg the thinnest I've ever been but a few years later I have managed to put it back on ....
I dont know about this but i can suggest exercise , eat lots of veg ( good for bowel ) ,water, milk , green tea. You dont have to pay anything. JUst a control to yourslef is very important if you really want to lose weight.
