Does St John's Wort tea interact with birth control in the same way as the capsules?

Question:
The capsules of St John's Wort have to carry warnings that they interact with birth control pills but the tea was an exception and wasn't made to carry a warning label.
Does this mean it affects the body in a different way than the capsules or is it all just the same thing, and if so will drinking the tea have the same effect on the body and birth control as the capsules?

Answers:
Without definite knowledge, I'd say it is a distinction, without a difference: see the website on that herb, (Hypericum) and others on herbs, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... in the depression section, and also read page 6: anxiety.
