You can buy drops in a pharmacy, or use equal parts of white vinegar and rubbing alcohol. Put a drop or two in your ears after swimming. If they begin to itch, use the solution three times a day until the itch stops.
If your ear becomes painful, has a discharge, or hurts when the earlobe is pulled, you might have developed an infection, in which case it's best to see a doctor and begin a course of antibiotics.
Dry your ears thoroughly with a soft towel after swimming, showering, or washing your hair.
Try using earplugs when swimming.
If you're going to swim in a lake and/or if you're prone to swimmer's ear, use drying/antiseptic eardrops after swimming.
Try a couple of drops of distilled white vinegar.
A hot wet rag! and sleeping but the drops help to!
thats when you get water in your ear, right? you can try using cotton swabs, put dont push to far and too hard in, you might hit your eardrum. this can soak up a little of the water. if that doesnt work, just tilt your head so the ear that has water in it is pointing to the ground, and sit for awhile, gravity will help the wate to drain.
There is a garlic drop that works real well on any kind of ear infection. Non-narcodic and works quite well.
Try dropping some rubbing alcohol in your ear.
I make my own by mixing half part rubbing alcohol and half part white vinegar. Insert one or two drops in ear. Works for me!
distilled white vinegar will clear and dry, just dont stick anything into your ear like when you are cleaning it, it will push the moisture in further making it harder for drops or vinegar to get to.
i don't go swimming so much because of that now! my mum says yawning while tilting your head to the side. sleeping (works for me!)
rubbing alcohol will kill the fungus and is safe as long as the eardrum is intact
hey Matt peroxide will dry the water up...just let your mom put about 1/2 a cap full in the ear while you lay there and then turn your head over and ket it run out
