CHIROPRACTIC COLLEGE: Which are best?
Question:
I Appreciate Your Help!
Answers:
there are 15 or 16 Chiropractic Colleges in the US
You are doing the best thing to help you choose...visit as many of the schools as you can...Cleveland CC in Kansas City (not St. Louis as another poster said) is an excellent school...you will know when you enter the college for a visit whether you are "at home" or not.
ps Logan CC is in Chesterfield, Mo, a suburb of St. Louis
Look at "Palmer Chiropractic College"
any college that is accredited is ok...but i would compare the costs with different ones.it's not really the college you attend that matters, it's your grades. if you make a c average at a private college, or you make A's and B's and a public state college...which ones do you think will matter with your success?
if you master your courses, you will be competent for the job...if you do the minimum for passing, you will not.
so any chiropractic school should be fine.
I went to Cleveland Chiropractic. There is a campus in Los Angeles and St. Louis. It is an old and very respected Chiropractic College, with closer ties to D.D. Palmer than Palmer college itself (started by his son, B.J. Palmer). Best luck!
PS: They are also very active in research, literature publication and government lobbying (the profession would disappear in 5 minutes if we didn't fight hard for our place).
