Question:
house go and got a note late last night that my apartment is coming on the morning to inspect..will need to be up all night. My wrist was hurting and I looked and a vein was bulging and purplish.. It is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch across and I am scared it will harm me like make me have a heart attack or something but I can't leave and go to hospital as I will get kicked out. is it anything to worry about. I took cayenne and put it on there and garlic tincture, Hawthorne, and horse chestnut and butcher's broom..what should I do to make it go away. Is there a danger of it breaking off and causing a stroke or something or is it nothing. Please help as I am starting to panic..I am worried and yet do not want to get kicked out.

Answers:
You may want to look in the yellow pages under "hospitals." Some usually have a nurse line to call, and they can give advice on what you should do.
Hmm.. let me think about this for a moment.. okay heres my answer. OMG GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW! (do you understand the importance of this?) you have a very high chance of it dislodging and it going to your brain, heart, or lung. Which is more important your apartment or your life? In case you missed my point, let me restate. GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!

Edit: Don't take aspirin like the other poster suggested, because it is a blood thining agent it could cause the clot to break off and travel.
hi.. actually heart attack is something that all of us can suffer if we tend to ignore it in the first place, cactus juice, sophorae bean, mulberry, citrus peel can help to lessen heart attatck.. ask me how..

A blood clot, if it would be that, in your wrist area is highly unlikely to break off and get to your heart and won't make to your brain because of the way the vascular beds are lined up in your body, it would go to your lungs and be trapped there. You probably have a varicosity (weakening of the vessel wall) and it's being overused so instead of the blood circulating there it's pooling and most likely will clot there if you don't rest it or use a support of some kind like a wrist brace or an ACE wrap. It's like a varicose vein in your leg only in your wrist. varicose veins aren't picky where they choose to be it's whatever has been overused the most. Some ice might help but that's a personal choice. even a 3/4 inch blood clot will only be 1/2-1/4 inch by the time it reached it's destination and that would travel right through the vascular system and be dissolved by the rest of your body so your risk of that particular thing causing you to have a heart attack is very small. Although I don't think it warrants a trip to the ER and it seems like you are not going to do that anyway, you should follow up with your family physician especially given your family history, you are officially at greater risk for cardiovascular problems including blood clots. They will be able to see where you are at in the disease process now and help monitor and control it now so that the future problems are easier to control
use omega 3 it will disolve your blood clots and if real serious get intravenous chelation that will work better look it up in the internet
I have factor 5 liden and it is a blood clot disorder so a blood clot can start at any time the skin will turn red, it will get hot and it will not hurt.
