My drug test results ( showing benzodiazipan) was sent to a lab that say I show positive for oxazepam (serax).

Question:
I have never heard of serax until now. They sent it to a special lab to have some sort of gas test performed on it & broke down the benzodiazipan to oxazepam (serax specifically). Never heard or taken anything called that & the company closed the door on me. Very upset & lost! Never been accused of drugs before. They won't even retest. I have no way of proving why serax would show up in my test. What do you do next?

Answers:
Weird that I came across this. I am fighting the sames fight. I was tested at lapCorp in Bradenton Florida, I work at CVS and I tested positive for flurazapaim. I have a prescription for Xanax. I work the night shift and take one in the moring to sleep. both of these medications are benzo's but, I never toolk the other medication. I called up the lab ( INTERSTATE) and had them send the sample to a Federal Lab in Bethesda, MD., at my own cost of 150.000 I've been suspended from my job. I'm waiting for the results. Let me know what Lab you used and also what Co. you work for. We may be able to help each other
I'm not sure if this helps, but I know that even in those lab tests, if you are taking zoloft to treat depression, it will show up positive for benzos.
