What is a good penetrating oil to use when blending with essential oils?

Question:

Answers:
Forget watery bland almond oil as a carrier. Only use first pressed virgin olive oil, wonderfully rich, silkily smooth, slowly seeps into your skin so it is fantastic for massage too.
Essential oils are not true oils, or lipids; they are esters. If you blend essential oils with a water based lotion, they will absorb more readily. Vegetable oils tend to pass through the dermal layer more slowly, thus slowing how quickly essential oils reach the blood.
jojoba oil is most like the skins own natural oils so should be used to blend if youre using it on the skin especially.
