Do you have any peppermint or eucalyptus oil? Add a few drops to 1/4 t. olive oil and rub into your temples and forehead.
What I have used on occasion when I was out of these is muscle rub. Sounds funny I know, and most brands are full of glycols and chemicals, but if you have an all natural muscle rub, that'll work too, then you don't have to mix anything when you're feeling lousy.
I also have a "Chillow" for keeping my pillow cool at night. I lay it (it's nice and heavy) on my head while I lay down and rest for an hour or so.
I hope this helps.
I don't trust medicines. The only one I do for headaches, and any other aches is Advil. Usually what I do when I don't want to take any pills. I just get a bag of ice with a towel on it so it won't be too cold for me to handle. And then go to sleep. It usually does the trick for me. Good luck.

Or try acu-pressure.Press firmly on your cheek bones close to your nose and move your finger tips along your cheek bone out tawrd your ears. do this a few times. then go to just ubove your eye brow.pressing gentle and moving your hands to the outside.
