Hi, I want to know from a user, what OXYCONTIN feels like?
Question:
Please analytically tell me what this drug is like.
I have never done heroine, oxy, ecstacy, weed, cocaine, etc...
The only "high" I have ever felt was ritalin/adderall, alcohol, and duster (keyboard spray can).
I'm 23, and am seeking testimony of "what" it feels like, if I were to take the drug in a recreational amount.
By the way, I'm open minded and please check out my fried-rice question in my "profile--see other questions"

You know the warm feeling that you get all over your body when you inhale keyboard cleaner? When you take opiates such as Oxycontin you get that warm fuzzy feeling for starters. No matter what is going on in your life or the world for that matter, when you are high it's all good, nothing will bum you out. The actual feeling is hard to describe, but it is definatly good. It is the polar opposite of Ritalin which I hate. Me and a friend of mine love to have wild parties, go to strip clubs, dance clubs and live concerts. When we take this stuff we go to blockbuster and rent a bunch of movies and just sit at home on a Saturday night. We allways nod out during the movie, and never remember what the hell happened, but like I said, it's all good, we just try to watch it again!
Now some advice. Oxycontin is a long lasting pain killer it should last for 12 or more hours if taken as perscribed. If you break them up, this destroys the time relese factor and you get all of the drug at once. This is what I do, but I have a very high opiate tolerance. You may not want to crush yours up until you know how much you can safely take. Oxycontin is a drug that was developed for people who are opiate tolerant. I would start out on Hydrocodone (Vicodin, Lortab, Norco, ect.). These are not as strong and a drug overdose is unlikely but still possible. NEVER take any type of opiates while taking benzodiazapines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, ect.). These depress you breathing just like opiates do, when you combine the two they can be fatal. I have known several people who have died form taking heroin or oxy with Xanax, they were fine until they went to sleep, but they never woke up.
Another bit of advice, if you do take this stuff don't take it for more than a few days (three). If you take it for an extended period of time you will be physically addicted, it is easy to do because it feels sooooo good. Don't go longer than three days and you should be ok.
All of that said Oxycontin, Heroin, and Hydrocodone are the best highs I have ever encountered and I have done it all. Please be carefull, don't get in a hurry, take it slow until you know what you can handle. For your first time, I wouldn't take more than 20 mg, wait a few hours and see what that does befor you take more. I am a seasoned addict and I crush 100mg, that much would kill someone who has never taken it. Also when you do it, don't combine it with alcohol or anyhing else that is a Central Nervous System depressant (Xanax), it will kill you so treat it with respect. Read up on it online.
I hope my info has helped you, it's hard to describe the feeling, but belive me it is good. ENJOY
it is hillbilly heroin..but if you all ready are doing ritalin and duster spray..your brain is allready fried..
Oxycontin is an extended release, brand name of the drug oxycodone. Oxycodone is a a codeine-class narcotic. It comes in both instant release ("fast acting") and extended release (over a period of say 12 hours).
Oxycontin is developed to deliver the dose of the pill over 12 hours. There is an easy way to solve this problem however I will not mention it here. I've seen a friend do it dozens of times.
Anyway, if you're going to be doing an Oxycontin, you should stick to a low dosage if you are opiate naive (meaning you've never taken narcotics before.) If so, honestly 10mg instant release would get you quite "slappy-happy".
I truthfully suggest you steer clear of taking the drug at all because it can be and usually is habit forming; an expensive and hard-to-break habit, I might add, as my friend has been addicted for well over 5 years.
HEY, if you're going to do it, at least be safe. Don't take more than necessary because OD deaths puts chronic pain patients in the spotlight and they truly need pain medicine to function.
OK, now for what you really wanted to know...
If you've done Ritalin/Adderall, expect to feel a somewhat similar buzz. On "painers", you usually feel a lot more comfortable in your surroundings and quite honestly you either get very quiet and "giggly" or you become pretty talkative/social. You can still function unless you take too high a dosage (obviously not recommended) and your mind stays pretty clear. You definitely won't get the "rush" you get with Adderall or Ritalin but you will have an energy jolt; perhaps that jolt only happens after you've tried them a few times...not sure.
Whatever...be safe!
