What is the different drug and supplement?
Question:
Answers:
All drugs are poisonous substances that alter cell physiology to force a "response."
For example, a popular drug has a specific effect that prevents you from having the aching, sniffling, sneezing, stuffy head, so you can rest, symptoms which your body has while your immune system is fighting a cold. The right dosage certainly can make you feel better (but it does absolutely nothing to help you fight the cold) but an overdose (about the entire bottle) can kill you.
Supplements provide components of nutrition which provide the cells with basic raw materials which should be found in a healthful diet.
Dietary supplements are intended to supplement, not substitute, the benefits of a good diet.
supplements fulfill a deficiency of something and drugs re-establish or correct balances
The basic difference between a drug (medicine) and a supplement is that a drug is given to a patient to cure an illness or fight it.
Supplement is like taking vitamins, tonics, minerals, etc, to help your immune system and support the body to fight ailments with the use of drugs.
Drugs and supplements go hand in hand and should be taken together for maximum benefits.
Drugs are artificial chemicals, while supplements are concentrated nutrients.
Whereas supplements complement each other so that 1 plus 1 can equal 5 as regards their benefits, with drugs 1 plus 1 can equal -6 feet under. In real life, depending on who you ask, anywhere from 106,000 to 800,000 patients die each year from taking FDA approved drugs
That's because nutrients are designed to work together. But drugs are not because they are like a misshapen key that gets stuck in a lock.
A person never can be deficient in a nutrient but can never be deficient in a drug.
Good luck and be well.

well, as the word implies, drugs has therapeutic effects that's why it has side effects, and overdoses, drugs are taken depending on the prescription of doctor with duration time such as antibiotics.. while supplements have no therapeutics effects it simply supply the nutrients, vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, antioxidants that our body lacks so that's why it has no overdoses and side effects.. the more we eat supplements the more our body will benefit.
