Do anybody know how to get rid of a trapped nerve in the neck with medicines etc?

Trapped nerve or pinched nerve in the cervical region, causes great discomfort. You should first stop popping your neck bones. This popping effects the cervical bones to lose the flexibility in the discs between the vertebrae and thus cause the pinching of nerves.

Do some neck exercises.
1. Tilt your head forward and backward as much as possible without any jerks
2. Tilt your head sideways horizontally on both sides as close to your shoulders as possible
3. Rotate your head slowly clockwise 5 times and anticlockwise 5 times. You may have to close your eyes while doing this exercise or you may feel giddy.

These exercises will loosen up the cervical stiffness and the pinched nerve and give immense relief.

Please let me know how you feel after a week.
medicine can't untrap a nerve. go to a chiropractor
I doubt very much if medications or physical therapy will offer more than temporary pain relief...very temporary. I suffered with this problem for years until I found a great orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the spine. The surgery was fairly easy and the recovery time short (a few weeks). I stayed one night in the hospital and had a shoulder/back of neck ache for two weeks. Well worth it!!
I once had a trapped nerve in my elbow and my doctor told me to take Brewers yeast tablets and, yes it worked. I don't know if it works on the neck, it's worth a try!
put it in ur butt
A physio could help you a lot, as could massage.
Massage Therapy really helps!
I would try rubbing it with an anti-inflammatory cream. If it persists you need to see your GP who can prescribe anti-inflammatory medication. Hope it is better soon. I know they say to keep mobile so it doesn't get any worse.
I have a book called 'essential guide to natural home remedies' by Penelope ody, it has some stuff in there on nerve pain, it would take me along time to type it all out for you, so i would reccommend you get the book, it covers nearly every single health problem and is well worth having.
I play a lot of golf and sometimes get a trapped nerve in my neck,I take Ibuprofen it helps ease the pain plus hot towels help, but it does take time.try consulting a doctor he may prescribe you something.you have my sympathy
Painkillers (e.g. antiinflammatories etc.) are ok to ease some of the pain, but they only hide the pain and will not get rid of the problem. It's much better to see a therapist (e.g. Osteopath, Physiotherapist or Chiropractor). See your GP and ask if you can get a referral.

i had a trapped nerve in my shoulder for months and this got rid of it in about 10 days.
How do you know it is trapped? Have you seen a Chiropractor? Nerves rarely are "trapped". More likely a joint is inflammed, out of allignment or a muscle is irritated. Perhaps a disc injury. Each problem has a unique solution but should be diagnosed first. A drug may be the right choice if a chemical imbalance "trapped" your nerve. Otherwise, if it is a biomechanical problem, see a Chiropractor and get an exam and x ray films if necessary. It is never "normal" to have aproblem like yours.
