Corrosion question?


Question:
My mom is a nurse and has a pulsox and it was caroaded (may be spelt wrong) but we replaced the batteries and cleaned it even inside the batterie spot, but it still wont work. Is there anything I can do because they cost over $300. HELP!

Answers:
try cleaning it with vinegar and letting it sit for a couple days and air dry until putting batteries back in.
