Herbal Remedies For Verrucas?
Question:
If you could help I wouldbe very grateful.
Answers:
My mother is a GP. She has always prefered to avoid chemicals and to use the"natural way". Warts do go eventually of their own volition, but to hurry them off she advised her patients to rub them fifty times every evening with a clove of garlic (peeled and cut open) before going to bed. The verrucas did clear much faster than with acids or chemicals, and it did no harm to the surrounding skin.
She did this on a large plantar verucca which my brother, who was a keen swimmer, must have picked up at the pool. It took four weeks to clear, but it did go.
none. Just go to a chirpodist and they will be gone in a day. Otherwise your whole family will get them and you'll never get rid of them!
I read in a magazine the other day that Tea Tree Oil would cure a verruca.
Cant do any harm.
Hope this helps!
Don't waste your time! Its difficult enough to get rid of them by conventional means. Either use verruca paints, or you can buy canisters to freeze a single lesion at the pharmacy, they use gas evaporation, or get your GP to freeze it with nitrogen.
Duct tape. I'm not being funny, scientific study has proven it works, better than freezing.
sea water...seriously works, soak it in a basin of sea water&it will dry up and fall off in about a week or so
perhaps this article might help, I found it from this site that specliases in alterntive & natural remedies & it's a wonderful site for referral : I quote:
"Among the more bizarre remedies I have seen that really does work for some people is banana skin. You tape a small piece of very ripe, even blackened banana skin with the inside surface in contact with the verrucas. The explanation lies in the fact there is an enzyme in the banana skin that attacks the verruca."
A Yahoo search for verrucas + "natural remedies" should give you the answers.
Everything is made from 'chemicals'. Even you. The only effective wart treatment is salicyclic acid.
