Ketamine is an animal tranquilizer. I don't know about it's uses in humans, but it sounds a bit iffy. Where are these articles you read?
Why don't you look into the myriad psych drugs they make for HUMANS, before looking outside the species?
I thought special k was used as an anesthetic.
I know they use it sometimes for anesthesia in veterinary sugery. Look it up on wikipedia, it says that its an anesthetic. It is not completely illegal since it does have medical uses however it is illegal to use/have without special consent I guess.

Some people see depression has a form of enlightenment and others as a dreaded illness so you will get "professionals" trying to find a "cure"
I would certainly think before I used Ketamine on the black market it is cut with everything from talc to ant powder.
