I do not use this technique, but those that do generally have taken a rigorous post grad program. There is some disagreement in the profession concerning the validity of corrective care vs pain relief vs functional improvement.
My opinion is to decide what it is you want. A particular symptom to improve or reach some optomum biomechanical state.
I do think your best chances of getting better is if you combine Chiro care with strengthening and a responsible lifestyle.
He is very right as far as im concerened.
Repairing is nothing next to functional improvement.
Ive had chiropractic adjustment in the past and found it was only necessesary/wanted when not exercising and strengthening.
i think its better to work out your kinks yourself rather than have someone do it for you. why settle for being periodically repaired when you can spend the same time getting stronger and more flexible so you dont have to?
I recommend yoga or tai chi.
I've been going to my Chiropractor for about 14 1/2 years now, and I can really feel the difference from when I go to him on a regular basis and when I havn't. After I go, I feel energized and more upbeat, not to mention my back feels relaxed and there's no pain at all. But before you go, check the Dr. out to make sure you like them, like you would with a regular doctor. Chiropractics has helped me alot, and I hope it will do the same for you. :)
oh, and if you decide to go to a Chiropractor, a great website is http://www.chiropractor-pages.com/...
