How much should I expect to pay for a good acupuncture session?

Answers:
Depends on where you are, but generally around $75 per treatment.
You may also want to look into whether there are any acupuncture schools in your area that may have discounted student clinics. These generally are around $20-$30 per treatment, and often offer treatment packages for an even greater discount. Student clinics are always performed under the watchful eye of an experienced acupuncturist.
I've been to both professional acupunturists and student clinics, and had wonderful results with both.
Generally an acupuncture session costs around $60.
Unless you're in Panama City, FL, that is. There is an acupuncturist by the name of Raquel Sanchez, M.D., who charges only $35! She is awesome. She loves doing acupuncture.
That's right, she's a medical doctor with a year and a half additional training in acupuncture. She told me that she much prefers acupuncture to medicine. She used to think that her 10 years of college and medical school "were a waste of time" compared to acupuncture.
She has since found that the method used by the doctor in my book matches up with acupuncture.
After she inserts the needles...and she has a gift for finding the right spots...she attaches an electrical pulse machine to some of the needles that potentiates the treatment.
Yes, the acupuncture should work for treating PMS.
Good luck and be well.

My practitioner in NYC charges $80 for the session, and $15 - $45 for herbal preparations.
I would say an acupuncture session is probably around $75 give or take. It all depends on where you live.
