Does ginko bilboa work? What does it do?

Question:

Answers:
Ginkgo biloba is a vasodilator, especially for the extremities--the head, hands and feet. It is used to thin the blood in arterial congestion--works about like a low-dose aspirin. Also used to increase cognitive function in the elderly or others who may have decreased blood circulation to the brain. Also used to increase blood circulation to the hands in Raynaud's disease. It is safe for just about everyone unless they have a bleeding disorder, taking blood thinners like Warfarin or possibly epilepsy.
I've heard it helps you gain IQ like a steroid.
