Ulcers are usually caused by a bacteria in the stomach. Not stress and hot food like they used to think in the old days. Go to the Dr., get a confirmed dx. and get a round of antibiotics. H pelori I think is the name of the bacteria that causes ulcers.

An herb called DGL has been shown to be more effective in healing ulcers than Tagamet and another drug whose name I don't recall (I mean, who cares about some drug that came in second or third? ;-))

A couple guys won the Nobel prize a few years ago for the discovery of H. pylori--the bacteria that causes stomach ulcers. See a real doctor, get some antibiotics and don't worry about it.

ulcer is a serious problem if not treated immediately. go to a doctor for the perfect treatment. for treatment of hyperacidity, take aluminum hydroxide + magnesium hydorxide + dimethicone (maalox plus) after eating and at bedtime (four times daily. ranitidine 150 mg is usually the basic treatment for ulcers taken twice daily for two weeks. there should be strict compliance with the dosage regimen because ulcers are usually recurrent.
Buttermilk at regular intervals. Don't keep your stomach empty . Eat small amounts every two hours- biscuits etc. Avoid citric fruits etc etc. Dont' get tensed up. Tension Kayko letha hai?
