How much ground flax seed should be taken in a dose?

Question:
How often do you take it?
What can I mix it with?

Answers:
About 2 tablespoons a day. It doesn't have a flavor, so you can put it in whatever you want. If you are really concerned with texture, then hide it in things that already have texture. I trick my boyfriend into eating it everyday, lol. I add it to things like spaghetti, chicken caserole, pizza. He doesn't know the difference. It looks like some kind of spice as far as he's concerned.

Personally, I don't care about texture, so sometimes I put it in yogurt. Depends on what I'm eating.
I don't think you can od on it a lot of cereals already have it in them , a lady I once knew put i it on her salads , and oatmeal about a tsp.
1 Tablespooon of the oil or 1 capsul per day.
You can use it as salad dressing or mix it was a salad dressing. You can use it as butter on your toast. You can do just about anything with it except warming it up.
I was told by my nutritionist to grind 1-2 tablespoons of seeds into a very fine powder and mix it in a glass of water or juice.
about 4 tablespoons, mix it with your favorite (fresh/frozen) fruit, like blueberries, strawberries or raspberries.you need to add a 3/4 cup of water and some honey.mix it all up and have one or 2 eggs(hard boiled).dude this could be your breakfest.works for me!
