I've had butterflies for the last two days?

Question:
I'm really stressed about my exam results and I have these continous butterflies in my stomach that just won't end. Any tips on how to make it stop?

Answers:
You are just anxious! If it is really bad then a doctor can prescribe you a mild anti-depressant that will take away the anxiety. When i get this a lay down in a quiet place (i know this sounds wierd but it works) and i shake my legs. it is really relaxing if you do it for a while and then stop suddenly
I should get a cat to catch them.
Try some Bach Rescue Remedy (http://www.rescueremedy.co.uk/),... meditation and deep breathing. Exam results are important, but not everything - don't jeopardise your health over them!
Distract yourself, that's about all you can do.
Brisk exercise - particularly walking - releases endorphins into the bloodstream and will do wonders for you. Try going for a long walk - the longer and the brisker the better.
Good luck!
I agree with Raha, Rescue remedy
You might have acidic stomach (it's not a huge deal but is not good), I would recommend drinking Pellegrino or or other seltzer water. It will make you burp a lot right after you drink it but will calm your stomach down.
too late to worry about your exams now, you've finished them, and even if they're terrible, do some re-sits.
no point stressing over something that you can't control.
well..the only way i would reckon is to relax..hope your next question isn't "how do i relax"..but maybe you can do something which will take your mind of this exam stress..
Listen to music that relaxes you whilst taking nice long baths talk to friends i bet they are just as nervous as you are. Take the pressure off yourself you'll know in your heart if you've done well and remember at the end of the day no matter what the results are, your parent(s) are always going to be proud of you. Good luck! x x
Sit in a comfortable chair, half-close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing. Feel your breath as it enters your body and as it leaves. After a while try to breathe out your anxieties. if this happens frequently, find out about meditation, it really helped me overcome anxiet and depression.
Do something to relax yourself. I will listen to my favorite music or read a good book. Go visit a friend. Anything to get your mind off of it. I know easier said than done but I would try to keep occupied till you get your results back. Good luck. I am sure you will do just fine.
I can feel for you but in a different way. I had to get 2 surgeries in 3 months and could not sleep every night I was up till 3 to 4 am in the morning. The week before my first surgery I was real nervous, I put on meditation tapes, I learned to relax myself and learning to meditate, breath calmer and think of happy or funny thoughts helped me relax a lot before the final days. Get a tape on how to meditate it really helps.
You'll do fine on your finals!
Best of luck!
eat them!
Sounds perfectly normal - have just been through the stress of exams myself, though now it is behind me, I am not too concerned about the results as I'm fairly sure I did ok. Did you not think they went too well...or is there a lot riding on your results? you know, at the time it can feel as though there is no greater pressure...and as someone who many moons ago did not do nearly as well as predicted in her A levels, I was still able to go to a far better University than I had originally applied to through clearing...it all worked out for the best...these things generally do.

In the short term, I can see some people have suggested rescue remedy - fantastic stuff! You could also try some herbal tablets such as Calms or 'Quiet Life', available in health shops & Boots etc. The quiet life's work the best for me...tend to take half an hour but then they really do ease the butterflies. Inexpensive too, so worth a try.

Try and calm down, reassure yourself that you did the best that you could do and cannot change anything now...

Hope you get the results you want/need...but if not, try and look at the bigger picture - nothing in insummountable...
