What's in a cinnamon stick tea that makes you relax and sleepy?

Question:
I just tried this today and it's really made me so relaxed. I saw in an article that if you boil the cinnamon stick as a tea, it might help with labor and makes you relax. I have never tried any tea that works this well for me before. So, what is it? I'm just curious!

Answers:
Because it was your first use, I would say that it's b/c it helps lower blood pressure. However, cinnamon used regular has the very opposite effect and should not be used by pregnant women in dosages that exceed what would be normally used in foods b/c of this reason.
If you are having trouble sleeping or relaxing, you should use Chamomile tea, especially if you are expecting. It does not have this side effect of lower the blood pressure or hurting the baby by decreased blood pressure. You will also relax and sleep like a queen without worry or anxiety.
I wouldn't advise using Cinnamon stick tea on a regular bases, using it in foods or using the stick to sweeten the flavor of your coffee or tea would be okay. Especially while expecting.
