What I use for anxiety is to go and watch a stupid movie that makes me laugh, or a well made movie which makes me feel like I was not an idiot for having watched it.
For a guy, Catnip Tea is the best for anxiety, panic attacks and night sweats. You can purchase fresh catnip herb in the grocery store produce dept. Brew a few of the leaves, sweeten to taste and drink. It's also great for hives and nervous hives.
Chamomile is good to calm the nerves and induce sleep, but for anxiety, Catnip is better.

give st. john's wart and valerian root a try...the latter may make you sleepy, while the former will "take the edge off", thereby reducing panic attacks and anxiety.
omega three is good for depression and anxiety. I take saint johns wart and Omega 3 6 and 9 (one caplet) and for female organs and PMS I take evening primrose. Black Cohosh is good for menopausal stuff mood swings etc.
